What is the difference between a steal and a splurge item?
ANSWER:
A “steal” is a HomeSense® item available for a reasonable price, a “splurge” is a top-dollar item from another store.

How do I play the game?
ANSWER:
After you complete your registration, you will come to a landing page where we’ll feature one room
each round (but you can always go back to previous rooms to play if you haven’t done so already).
Inside each room, there are five pairs of products – a “splurge” luxe item and a well-priced “steal” from HomeSense.
Select the steal from each pair then click NEXT to see your result.

Why do I need to register for Splurge vs Steal?
ANSWER:
Once you register, you can play Splurge vs Steal for a chance to WIN a $5,000 HomeSense shopping spree, PLUS 1 of 20 secondary prizes consisting of $50 HomeSense gift cards. You’ll earn one entry upon successful registration and have the chance to earn up to three additional entries, one entry per round, during the contest period. You will also be able to earn up to a total of four (4) bonus entries during contest period, one per round, by clicking the Twitter button on the contest website and sharing the Splurge vs Steal game.

What is pre-registration?
ANSWER:
The contest begins on April 24, but you will have the opportunity to pre-register prior to that date. When the game launches, we’ll notify you so all you have to do is login and play. Please note: even if you’ve played Splurge vs Steal before, you will have to pre-register again for the spring 2013 contest.

How do I register for Splurge vs Steal?
ANSWER:
Click PLAY from the navigation bar, and click on the REGISTER button from the login page. Fill out the entry form and complete the registration. A message will appear confirming you have successfully registered and that you can begin playing. Click on ENTER to start the game.

The most common cause of registration errors is not filling in all required fields. Make sure you complete all entry form fields before hitting submit.

How do I become a registered TJX Canada STYLE+ Loyalty card member?
ANSWER:
It's easy and FREE. Visit any Winners, HomeSense or Marshalls store (in Canada) and pick up a TJX Canada STYLE+ Loyalty card. Simply visit www.tjxstyleplus.ca and register the 19 digit number that's on the back of the card you received in the store. Complete the registration form and you're done! It’s that easy.

How many times can I play?

You can play once every round (each round lasts 7 days – see dates for each round below). If you miss a round you can still go back and play it at any time before the contest closes on May 29.
